We are In Bloom and In Habit, two independent shops on Columbia Road flower market. Dalina and George, coming from a design background, set In Bloom up in 2016,  and In Habit followed in 2019 after their wedding. Our shops capture the spirit of Columbia Road flower market and the diversity and freedom which epitomises our special area of East London. 

In Bloom (at number 152) is a specialist haven for pottery and ceramics. It houses an expansive range of handmade and carefully selected handmade plant pots, vases, plant accessories and fair trade decor. At Christmas time the shop becomes a grotto of delights, with ornaments of all shapes and sizes and all walks of flora and fauna taking over the central displays.

In Habit (at number 144) is so abundant in pieces for the home, and personal use, one could say it is several shops in one. Here you can find the largest selection of  table candles and candle holders you could feast your eyes on. Opposite, a rainbow of colour in our specially designed and handmade Florentine books, alongside other stationery. Further in you can find a feast of glassware, and dinnerware which have a wide range of pieces for the everyday alongside some striking ones to add a little pizazz. 

Due to popular demand over the years we have opened our online shop, to be able to accommodate the customers who cannot visit us in store regularly, many of whom have been with us since the very beginning. We source new pieces for our stores regularly, and strive to share these online as quickly as possible.

We take pride in playing a part in our customers creating colourful and happy moments in their daily lives, be it at home, in the garden, or sharing with others.
